Open Access — Business feasibility activities (technical, operational and commercial) for providing fully managed (“as a service”) cellular and fibre connectivity to carriers and internet service providers to achieve rural coverage objectives.

ACMA Audits — Commissioned to review a client's ACMA spectrum licence holdings to reduce annual expenditure. The audits uncovered double licence fee payments the client was unaware of, resulting in a $370,000-a-year, multi-year refund from ACMA to the client.

ACMA Apparatus Licence Review — Engaged to review all apparatus licences held by a client and report on the potential surrender or retention of each licence against key criteria, resulting in more than $200,000 in annual savings.

Private Enterprise, Mining and Renewables — Design, costing and build of private 4G networks supporting the mining and renewables sectors in Queensland for a major utilities provider.

IoT Private Networks — 4G, 5G and LoRa radio solution design services and consultancy for several IoT proof-of-concept networks.

New Networks — Lead radio network consultant for a Tier 1 global carrier creating greenfield mobile networks in Romania, Portugal, Spain, South Korea and North America.

Regional Coverage Overlay — Delivered rural coverage to reduce roaming costs through cost-effective radio solutions based on identified roaming hotspots.

Site Sharing — Worked with other facility owners to accommodate radio and transport solutions in a cost-effective way.

Special Projects — Design and build of radio solutions for coverage-challenged areas, such as the Bass Strait coverage extension serving the Tasmania ferries.

Special Event and Emergency Coverage — End-to-end support of special-event coverage and capacity solutions (Melbourne Cup, Grand Final, Formula 1 and New Year's Eve) and emergency coverage (bushfires and floods) at short notice within a Tier 1 Australian mobile carrier.

Fast Delivery Solutions — Coordinated rapid-deployment solutions such as Cells on Wheels and a low-impact 30-metre tower mobile base station with a one-week construction time.

Deployment Code — Led a team in changing how radio sites are delivered, addressing public concerns about the aesthetics and EME implications of building sites in sensitive areas.

Regional RAN Engineering Manager — For a Tier 1 Australian mobile carrier, led a cross-functional team within the Access Networks department through SAED, design, build, performance and optimisation of the radio access network across five states and territories in Australia.

Leadership and Execution — End-to-end delivery of federal and state government programs of work, such as the Mobile Black Spot Program and regional rail coverage programs.

Security Agencies — Assisted federal and state government security agencies with radio network technologies supporting correctional facilities and public safety activities.

Government Working Groups — Supported local government, advising on mobile cellular coverage plans for their electorates and media releases.

Regional Digital Connectivity — Commissioned to deliver a radio network concept design and costings supporting a business case for the Department of Regional NSW.

Smart Cities — Commissioned to review and recommend smart-city 5G radio solutions providing connectivity to support multiple local councils' digital strategy plans.

Local Government Mediation — Supported a city council with an independent peer review of documentation from a third-party radio design company, as part of a development dispute between a developer and a major mobile operator.

First to Market — Successfully delivered and supported proof-of-concept technologies and features with global mobile operators across global markets.

Spectrum Licence Bid Support — 5G radio solution design, cost analysis and advisory role within Radtonics AB in South America, supporting a nationwide rollout of greenfield 5G services.

Customer Experience — Led an investigation team in performance reviews of radio network performance and customer experience via analytics software, resulting in overall performance improvements in networks in Australia and Indonesia.

Off Grid — Delivered radio solutions in locations where utility power is unavailable or too costly, using solar as an alternative.

Facilities Asset Grading — Evaluated vertical assets owned by councils and utilities using the in-house Maptino platform, grading them by their value for enabling 4G and 5G small-cell deployments for mobile network operators. This service is now being explored for possible use in the EV charging sector.
